🔒Security

Hit.Movie manages content security at individual component level as well as across the media distribution and exhibition pipeline. Key measures we adopt are ...

Private App: The Hit.Movie Apple TV App is a private app delivered via Apple Business Manager (ABM). In other words the app is not publicly available via app stores. All app copies are re-verified at boot time and continuously through runtime.

Customised Apple TV Box: Hit.Movie Apple TV Boxes are configured to run only the Hit.Movie App in a 'Single App Mode'. When switched on the box boots directly in to the Hit.Movie App. No other apps can be installed or run on the box.

Remote Management: Hit.Movie Apple TV Boxes are remotely controlled and administered. The boxes are monitored in real time and can be remotely locked/wiped/updated.

Geo Fencing: Hit.Movie Apple TV Boxes are set to work only within a radius of 100 meters (configurable remotely). If a device moves out of this radius, it is automatically locked out.

Secure Media Pipeline: Fully encrypted pipeline for raw media ingest, both in transit and at rest.

DRM: Apple FairPlay DRM.

Forensic Watermarking: Unique fingerprinting of content to trace origin of piracy to the exact time, location and device.

End User KYC: Hit.Movie boxes are installed only after end user KYC (Know Your Customer) is done.

Others: HDCP Protection, Trusted Device Lists, Domain based restrictions, Country/Location/Geo based restrictions, IPv4/IPv6/CIDR restrictions and other active and heuristic content protection mechanisms.
